We operate as a traditional members organisation, run by anglers for anglers. Our main aims are to promote and enable salmon and sea trout fishing on Loch Lomond, and the wider Lomond system, for the benefit and enjoyment of our members and the local community. As well as to preserve and improve the club for future generations.

VOLDAC’s provision of fishing, boating, maintenance and social facilities bring together a community of anglers, encouraging social participation amongst all members.

The club has a long and distinguished history, having been formed in 1948 with the aim “to encourage the art of angling amongst anglers and to disseminate among them information and instruction regarding the arts and habits of fish”. A tradition that continues to this day.

The clubhouse was built in 1973 and officially opened its doors on 20th April 1974. Since the club was formed, our members moored their boats on swing moorings on the River Leven, wading or rowing into the swift flow of the river before and after every trip. Then in 2015 thanks to the generosity of a local business and the hard work of our membership walk-on pontoons were installed - an undertaking which guarantees easy access to the loch for our membership for years to come.
