VOLDAC members are urged to complete a catch return for season 2019, if you have not already done so.

The LLAIA have a statutory requirement to submit a return of all salmon and sea trout caught on the system to Marine Scotland before 31st December 2019. These returns are currently used by Marine Scotland to determine the Annual Conservation Category Assessment. This is worked out over a five year average and the 2019 figures will be included in the 2021 assessment.

At the LLAIA AGM in February 2019 an amendment to the constitution was passed that “memberships will not be renewed until a catch return has been received. Defaulters may incur an administration fee”.
