As we motor into the new season there has been a marked increase in boats venturing up the Loch which has seen an increase in footfall using our facilities. It is still early in the season to look for reports of fish being caught but we can live in hope. With the increase in footfall using the club we continue to offer a selection of events and activities for our members. Sat 29 March we have our next ”Wee night oot in the afternoon” as usual we will fun and games with the cash jackpot on play your cards right” ever increasing. Again we will open our doors at 2.30pm running through until 8pm. We hope to see you there, why don’t you join us and wait for the guys to come off the Loch.
Our annual presentation night is fast approaching and we have two dates in mind 2/9 May we will let you know the confirmed date when we have it. There will be a selection of trophies awarded on the night and some of these have been awarded since to 1970`s, so there is some history and nostalgia in the trophies. This is one of the clubs valued traditions and we would invite our members and their guests to come along.
Last year you msy remember that along with our friends from WWTW we took several of them for a day up the Loch. This turned out to be wonderful experience and many of the veterans enjoyed the day immenselly. We are looking to repeat this event on Sat 7 June 2025 and are now looking for members to offer their services on the day to take a veterans up the loch for the day. Any interested volunteer if they could give their name to a committee member and we ca begin to make arrangements.
